Hometown:  Whittier, CA

Played tennis for Whitney High School
  -Ranked No. 7 in the So Cal-18s singles
  -Ranked No. 37 in the nation
In High School, Chris was:
  -In the round of 16 at the USTA International Grass Court Championships
  -In fourth round at the USTA Super Nationals/ Kalamazoo, MI)
  -CIF Singles Champion

Chris attended UCLA on a tennis scholarship.  Some highlights:

2002-03 UCLA Tennis - Semifinalist in the Pac-10 Invitational
-Ended the season with a 14-7 overall singles record
-Won consolation title at the (ITA Regionals at Pepperdine) 2003-04 -Ended the season with a 27-12 overall singles record

2004-05- Redshirted the season with an ankle injury.

2005-06- Honorable mention All-Pac-10 selection.  Ended the season ranked No. 98 in singles (Final Fila/ITA Rankings) Posted a 31-6 overall record on the year.  Doubles finalist with Aaron Yovan at the Midland Collegiate Classic.

Fall 2006- His UCLA ranking was No. 66 in singles and No. 45 in doubles in the nation.  He went to the round of 16 at the ITA All- American Championships and reached the finals at the Wilson/ITA West Regionals

For the 2008-2009 season Chris was the assistant coach for the UCLA Men's Tennis Team
